FEATURED GRADUATE
Peter Hajinian Miami Ad Graduate 2005 - Copywriter Carmichael Lynch
I started Miami Ad School Minneapolis in January of 2004. I chose it because it was a loft in downtown Minneapolis full of long, wide tables. Perfect for spreading out papers and shouting headline ideas down the table to your partner, only to apologize to everyone else that you actually said that out loud.
At its best, it was a warehouse of creative genius. At its worst, a loft full of die hard Mac users. Either way, I met some great characters. Besides curing me of my total ignorance to all things advertising, by the time I graduated in December of 2005, Miami Ad School had turned me into a passablecopywriter with internship experience at DDB Chicago and Carmichael Lynch in Minneapolis (in the Greenhouse program).
The Carmichael Lynch internship eventually led to a full time position, where I got to work with clients like Porsche, Harley-Davidson, and Northwest Airlines. Also, I wrote an ad for a bathroom fixture conglomerate that was printed in a trade magazine. I had, as they say, made it.
