Berlin is a magnetic, exciting and vibrant city – a place steeped in history where east meets west. It is a city that offers maximum input for creatives: amazing museums and architecture, an incomparable nightlife and the biggest film festival in the world. Berlin’s creativity will inspire your own and teach you all about pop culture. Youthful and vibrant energy can be felt everywhere. If you’re here for only a day you’ll understand what Mayor Klaus Wowereit meant when he said, “Berlin may be poor – BUT IT’S SEXY!"
Berlin is affordable and rich in inspiration – a big plus for young creatives. Unlike every other major metropolis, you don’t need to be rich to get your kicks here. As for creativity, you can find endless inspiration almost everywhere, from the street corner to the ad agency. That’s why so many famous agencies have established powerful bases here. And they all come to Berlin’s Miami Ad School to teach and to seek creative talent.
Creative directors from Jung von Matt, Heimat, ServicePlan, Scholz & Friends, DDB, BBDO and many other renowned agencies teach exactly what’s relevant and up-to-date in the industry. Then there are the two directors: Niklas Frings-Rupp won D&AD’s World’s Best Tutor Award and Oliver Voss was partner and Chief Creative Officer at Jung von Matt, Germany’s most creative agency. The list of their accomplishments is almost as long as their hair.
From your very first day at Miami Ad School in Berlin you’ll know you’re in a unique and international environment. In addition to English and German, you may hear Spanish, Portuguese or Japanese. You’ll be in a global school associated with students of more than 30 different nationalities on campus. Courses are taught in English. And this will be just your first year at the school.
In your second year, you can travel the world. This is one of the great things about the school: it offers global locations where you can spend the second year of the program studying and interning: from New York to Stockholm, from Buenos Aires to Amsterdam, from San Francisco to Beijing; Paris, London, Dubai, Berlin and many other international cities. Get your start in Berlin and just imagine what the future will have in store for you.
No German? No problem. We speak English.
The Berlin school offers educational programs for copywriters, graphic artists and art directors in English. It offers a full-time study program (not just evening courses). Established now for 5 years, the school has a fantastic location in an old industrial loft – just around the corner from where David Bowie lived from 1976 to 1978.
The best thing? Our Berlin graduates are hired by every significant agency from Germany, Europe and all over the world. They bring inspiration to the agencies – just like Berlin brings inspiration to the school’s students. Miami Ad School in Berlin offers the best training worldwide in one of the planet’s most inspiring cities!
