We could waste our breath telling you about Madrid’s cultural wonders. Like the Prado Museum with it’s electrifying collection of Goya, El Greco and Velazquez. Or Reina Sofia Museum with Dali, Miro, and Picasso on every wall. We could bore you with words about the theatre, the ballet and the concerts in Madrid. Or tours of the architectural sights of Old Madrid or the Royal Palace. We could suggest, if you have never seen one, to go to a bullfight.
But you don’t care about all this culture, do you? No, you’re young. You want to hear about tapas and taverns and the all night party life of Madrid. If Madrid never sleeps, why should you? Although it would be a good idea if you would take a stroll in the beautiful squares and parks with magnificent monuments-at least once -to prove to your parents that you took advantage of this magnificent city.
Or if you aren’t the cultural type or the party type, maybe you’re into mountain sports like skiing. Well, the mountains are only 40 minutes from Madrid. Or perhaps you are the beach-bum type. Beautiful beaches are just an hour flight away from the school. The school is in one of the oldest central neighborhoods of Madrid. It is located in a building that was constructed in 1974 by a famous architect, Fernando Higueras. It is so emblematic that it is very common to read about it in all the books of architecture of Madrid. We are very close to the famous Malasaña Street, full of “tapa’s bars,” fashion stores and “terrazas” that get crowded in summer with very interesting people including some of the art directors and copywriters from nearby agencies. Just in front of our establishment is a small park which is a place that inspires and relaxes us since we spend the whole day in the school.
We have a school dog (who looks like Jim Carrey’s dog in “The Mask”). Occasionally a student will borrow Gus to walk in the park as a way of meeting someone particularly interesting.

You won’t have time for all that if you enroll in Miami Ad School Madrid. Our teachers will push you to the limit. The teachers take a few hours off each week from agencies like SCPF, CONTRAPUNTO, Remo, Shackleton, Zapping, Ogilvy, Young & Rubicam, TBWA, Leo Burnett, McCann, Erickson, Lola, BBDD, La despensa, etc. They are the leading creative directors, art directors, copywriters, photographers, designers and illustrators in the city. All of them have a long background of awards and professional achievements and they have no time for any student who is not serious. In a short period of time since the school was founded in Madrid these teachers have produced graduates who have become the most awarded young teams in the Spanish advertising industry where people are already talking about the MIAMI GENERATION.
Ever since the school began, our art direction and copywriting students have won national and international awards at festivals like D&AD, One Show, Young Guns, El Festival Iberoamericano El Sol or Club de Creativos. Already our students were selected as a team in the Young Creative Competition at the Cannes Festival. Our art director and copywriter graduates are hired by the most creative Spanish advertising agencies and some graduates are even working in other countries like England, Holland, Brazil or the U.S.
The art direction and copywriting portfolios are prepared in English and Spanish which gives them a bilingual character could pave the students’ way in the international market as a whole and in the Latin American market in particular.
And most surprisingly, you will learn to love the intensity and pace of the program. Like our previous graduates who have been hired by the leading agencies in Spain you will contribute to the rise of Spanish advertising. Spanish ads are winning at Cannes and the other international awards. The long tradition of creative thinking in Spain is back. Spain is really back. Spanish football is back. Spanish creativity is back. ¡Ole, Ole!
