Minneapolis has long been a city of creative and independent thinkers. Want to see where Post-Its® were invented or where Bullseye the Target mascot lives? We can show you. In addition to the many Fortune 500 companies that call the Minneapolis area home, the city's numerous tech start-ups and independent advertising agencies make it easy to see that the entrepreneurial spirit is thriving here. With a bustling music, theater, and arts scene, low cost of living, endless bike paths and ways to enjoy our four vibrant seasons, it’s no wonder Minneapolis is consistently ranked amongst
the healthiest, happiest, and best places for young adults in America! And since the school sits in the heart of the advertising district in Minneapolis, we’re lucky to count our teachers at creative think-tanks such as Colle+McVoy, Olson, Carmichael Lynch, and space150 (to name a few) as neighbors! From farmer’s markets and beautiful waterways to the famed Spoonbridge and Cherry sculpture or the latest James Beard award-winning restaurant, the City of Lakes is sure to inspire.

Skill and Portfolio Development
Students in the art direction and copywriting programs spend their first year in Minneapolis. The courses the students take are practical and class projects are realistic. Since the classroom replicates the real-world, students develop the skills and portfolio needed to get a job in the advertising industry
In the second year of the two-year program students have the option to study and intern in agencies and companies in up to four other cities around the world where Miami Ad School has programs. Students continue to develop their portfolio, expand their network of industry contacts and get real-world experience.
Miami Ad School and all its US branch locations are accredited by the Commission on Occupational Education, 41 Permiter Center East, NE Suite 640, Atlanta, GA 30346, telephone: 770-396-3898
