PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Miami Ad School Fashion Photography program prepares students on every level for a career in Photography. Students are given a strong background in Fashion, Lifestyle, Editorial, Food and Architectural photography with an emphasis on Fashion.While being a great photographer is important, we also train our students in the business side of photography because great photography alone is not enough to make it in todays job market. Students leave with an online portfolio, being set up as an LLC, business cards and promotional collateral, knowing the rules of copyright, picture usage, estimating jobs and pricing based on how the pictures will be used.

SOME OF THE CLASSES YOU'LL TAKE

The fashion industry has long driven experiment in photography and editorial design. This program follows that same goal. Students are expected to “go over the edge” and produce visually exciting and provocative work. The courses are taught by leading professional fashion photographers and editorial designers who will demanda total commitment from the student.

FPG 302 Photo Visions
This will study the important moments in photography by focusing on the major photographers in the category. This is not just a lecture students will be assigned photographic projects requiring understanding of some of the major categories.
