The photo student turned her award-winning portrait series into a documentary with 25k from Kickstarter.
AWARDS / RECOGNITIONS:
Mary Beth Koeth moved from Texas to study photography and video at Miami Ad School. While she was living in Miami Beach, Fl, Mary Beth joined Raven's running group and discovered that although Raven has been running 8 miles on South Beach every single day since 1975, his real passion is song writing.
Mary Beth began shooting images and video of Raven for "Unstoppable" a documentary about Raven's runs and songwriting. Fellow student, Wallace Cruz, joined her as the video editor, and they raised over $25K in funding on Kickstarter for the documentary.
Eva Longoria, a judge in Ron Howard's Cannon Project Imaginat10n, chose one of Mary Beth's photos as inspiration for a film she'll be creating. Raven photos have been published in CMYK and Applied Arts Magazines.
Founded in 1993, Miami Ad School has grown to a network of 15 advertising schools in 10 different countries.
