As a creative technologist, you are a creative person with a knack for tech – or a techie with a creative passion or talent. Creative technology is for thinkers, makers, innovators and problem solvers –equipped with a mixed system of multiple disciplines, such as Prototyping & Coding, Design & Creativity, Electrical Engineering, Management and Innovation.

Your training covers everything you need to know for a career as a Creative Technologist. Courses are practical. Instructors are all top creative and tech professionals. They teach you the skills they use everyday at their agencies, labs and tech companies where they work. Projects are realistic. You may even work on a live project for a brand and present your ideas to the client. For your future role, you need a clear understanding of technology, design and human needs.

You have to be always up to new challenges which allow you to create stunning products and services which will make life easier and more exciting. You are a problem solver and inventor with a creative tech heart to create awesome things and innovations for the future.

Intern and get real-world experience before you graduate. Students can opt to spend part of their two year program studying and interning in up to four other cities where we have programs. Through partnerships the school has with agencies and tech companies all over the world, students can get hands-on experience and build their network of industry contacts.

Program Length:

The creative technology program is a two-year (8 quarter) program. Each quarter is 10 weeks in length followed by a break. To graduate students must have at least a 2.5 GPA.

Program Options:

After spending at least one year (4 quarters) students can apply to our Quarter Away Program. This program gives students the opportunity to study and intern in up to four more cities around the world.

Tuition per quarter is EUR 2.600.

Tuition is based on the quarter system.

It takes eight quarters (24 months) for completion of the creative technology program. Total tuition cost for all eight quarters is 20.800 Euro.

Financial aid is available for German, Danish and Swedish Citizens.

All students must have:

  • Apple Macintosh Airport-equipped notebook computer with CD-R or DVD-R
  • Adobe Creative Cloud membership, iWork and iLife
  • printer
  • digital SLR camera with adjustable settings and HD video
  • additional anticipated supplies cost EUR 150 - 300 per quarter
  • The Miami Ad School creative technology program is a two-year/ eight-quarter program.

    Classes are held Monday through Saturday. Periodically, students will have weekend classes in the late morning. Schedules are set by the registrar and have limited ability to be modified.

    In a student's second year, their schedule will vary depending on their quarter away choices (i.e. Agency Lab, Internship or classes in a school).

    This is a two year diploma program with the primary purpose of developing a professional portfolio through classes and real-world experience to gain the skills needed for an entry level position in the creative or tech industry.

    Placement Assistance:

    Graduates have the opportunity to attend portfolio review and interview with multiple agencies. Miami Ad School also supplies graduates with job leads throughout their career.
