Después de 23 años de exito en curso en las ciudades más importantes del mundo, el Portfolio Copywriting Program es el más solicitado y amado por todas las agencias en el mundo. Creando ideas junto a tu complice Art Director, dan riendas sueltas a la creatividad en proyectos para marcas grandes y pequeñas. En cada uno de los quarters te acercarás al éxito mientras desarrollas tu escritura creativa para todo tipo de plataformas, volviendote en un híbrido entre escritor y un ingeniero de ideas. Tendrás la oportunidad de trabajar con marcas que te mueven y tener un impacto en ellas, aún dentro de Miami Ad School. Tu día a día será junto a los top escritores creativos o presentándole a un director creativo, todo en un perfecto clima caribeño.

Program Length:

The copywriting program is a two-year (8 quarter) program. Each quarter is 10 weeks in length followed by a break. To graduate students must complete 1920 clock hours/96 credit hours and have at least a 2.5 GPA.

*Programs in Punta Cana are taught in Spanish.

Program Options:

After spending at least one year (4 quarters) in Punta Cana, students can apply to our Quarter Away Program. This program gives students the opportunity to study and intern in up to four more cities around the world.

Tuition for each quarter is US$2,650 per quarter/ US$10,600 a year / US$21,200 total tuition cost for the 2-year program for Dominican residents. Tuition for each quarter is US$3,210 per quarter/ US$12,840 a year / US$25,680 total tuition cost for the 2-year program for non-residents. Tuition is based on the quarter system.

It takes eight quarters (24 months) for completion of the copywriting program. Financial aid is available for Dominican residents.

All students must have:

  • Apple Macintosh MacBook or MacBook Pro with external hard drive storage (2 TB) with maximum RAM, Airport-equipped computer (approximately $1,299 to $3,000)
  • Adobe Creative Cloud membership ($19.99/month, requires annual commitment)
  • Smart Phone with video

Miami Ad School's copywriting program is a two-year/ eight-quarter program. Each quarter of the first year, students have four classes that meet once a week for three hours. Class times are:

1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Classes are held Monday through Saturday. Periodically, students will have weekend classes in the late morning. Schedules are set by the registrar and have limited ability to be modified.

In a student's second year, their schedule will vary depending on their quarter away choices (i.e. Agency Lab, Internship or classes in a school).

This is a two year diploma program with the primary purpose of developing a professional portfolio through classes and real-world experience to gain the skills needed for an entry level position in advertising.


Placement Assistance:
