Pippa Seichrist, CoFounder/CoDirector of Miami Ad School
Last week I was at the New York Festivals award show and hung out with a big group of our graduates. (Twenty-two of them won advertising awards that night.) Seeing them made me wonder, "Since our first graduating class in 1995, where have most of our grads gone to work?”
LinkedIn has an advanced search feature that allows you to cross reference a school and company and see how many graduates work at that company. I got nerdy and started looking at the numbers and decided to share some of my searches.
Miami Ad School students and grads have had advertising internships and worked at the offices of Ogilvy & Mather in Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, Bogota, Chicago, Dubai, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, Madrid, Miami, New York, Paris, Sao Paulo, Sydney and Toronto. Saatchi & Saatchi, Young & Rubicam, DDB and BBDO have also been long-time supporters of Miami Ad School's talent.
Together these five advertising agencies have selected more than 2,557 of our students and grads for internships and jobs.
Some of our graduates work at smaller ad agencies, design firms or innovation companies. Others work at start-ups or huge companies like Google or Target. Lots of graduates have started their own companies. Our students have so many career options!
