Classes at Miami Ad School Toronto have not even begun and already it's made history. Not only is it the first Canadian location, but Miami Ad School Toronto also made Canadian insurance history by being the first school to cover the general liability of students (as required by national law) outside of the country—in agencies or other Miami Ad School locations. This affords Toronto students the same opportunity to study and intern in other world advertising capitals that every Miami Ad School student has. Spending quarters away—and being exposed to different markets and cultures—is a big part of the Miami Ad School experience that should not be missed. It's a mind-expanding journey like no other.
Stephen Jurisic, Partner/Executive Creative Director and founder of creative agency, john st., will be the creative chairman of Miami Ad School Toronto. He will be responsible for going through applications, sourcing instructors and ongoing mentoring for the students. He is also teaching this quarter’s “Ideas First – Brainstorming Techniques” class. john st. also did some amazing pro bono creative work for us – you can check it out here. It’s safe to say that Toronto students will be in great creative hands.
In addition, Miami Ad School Toronto secured partnerships with Westside Studio, Canada’s leading photography and video studio, for all of our still and motion picture instructional needs for classes such as Digital Photography and Video Storytelling. Partnerships with Google Canada are in place for our Strategy & Planning Boot Camp, giving an extra edge to future planners and strategists by learning Google's powerful enterprise tools from the source itself.
