"From the moment we walked in the door at MUH-TAY-ZIK / HOF-FER, we were welcomed with open arms by a group of colorful personalities working in a black and white penthouse. We hadn't known how we “students” would be treated. None of us had any industry experience. Immediately it was clear. The creative director had faith in our creative ability and definitely welcomed our presence as part of the team. The first day we were briefed and began concepting on a project for Netflix. We submitted copy paired with original artwork that the company would go on to use for all of the main social platforms. We also presented to the client some social media ideas that went beyond the normal tweets and Facebook posts. Our concepts were received better than we could’ve hoped for. We also participated in campaigns for New Amsterdam Vodka and acted as extras in a TV commercial for a start-up here in SF. This has been an amazing introduction into the real world of advertising."
