Our grads go on to have successful and rewarding careers.

Our students are the most awarded in the world and that does not change once they graduate! They’ve had multiple Super Bowl commercials, created innovative product ideas, won in almost every Cannes Lions category and have even been featured at the Ted Global Conference as one of the best ideas of the year. 2005 Grad Jens Pfau, ECD Jung von Matt

These two Christmas videos were created by Jens Pfau, 2005 graduate of Miami Ad School Hamburg. Jens, the Executive Creative Director of Jung von Matt, and his team created the spots for one of Germany’s biggest supermarkets, Edeka.

“Ship My Pants” was a thirty second commercial promoting Kmart’s free shipping service. The social media buzz surrounding the spot ranged from condemnation for its “crudeness & vulgarity” to praise for its “edgy sense of humor”.

Graham Douglas, a 2008 Miami Ad School graduate, turned minor cuts into an opportunity to save lives by combining adhesive bandages with a bone marrow donor kit.

30 Under 30 #7: Sam Shepard

Four years ago Sam got his start in advertising by studying art direction at Miami Ad School’s original location in Miami. Through the school’s partnerships with agencies all over the world Sam interned at advertising agencies in New York, Moscow and at Ogilvy in Sao Paulo.

Sticking with an idea (when you know it’s good) can definitely pay off. MAS grad & current Strawberry Frog art director Shawna Laken knows this firsthand, because an idea she had over three years ago while on Christmas vacation just won her a Bronze Cyber Lion at Cannes.

Bulgarian-born Alexander Kalchev studied at Miami Ad School in Hamburg and interned at agencies in Moscow, Brussels and Berlin. Siavosh Zabeti, born to Iranian parents in Paris, was raised in Germany and, after attending Miami Ad School, did intern stints at in Stockholm, Amsterdam and New York.

SF alums James Davis and Nicolas Howell's Dockers "We Wear No Pants" spot won one post-Big Game competition, perhaps the one that matters most in these interconnected, digital times. The day after the Super Bowl the top two most searched keywords in were "Dockers Free Pants" and "dockers.

Josh Bloomberg (class of '98) dreams of talking flowers and Don Rickles to create a Teleflora Super Bowl commercial.  "Using its SocialSense listening platform, Networked Insights dubbed the Teleflora commercial the 'biggest winner' of the game.

Grads Land Super Bowl Spot In Record Time

Matt Weiner & Kris Layher, just over a year out of school, have created their first Super Bowl Spot. They joined Publicis Seattle shortly after leaving school in December 2008. Just a little over a year later, they've already scored a spot on this year's roster of Super Bowl ads.
