Tangible, a project of Canon Health and Oliver-Pyatt Centers—leaders in the treatment of anorexia and other eating disorders—seeks to help sufferers of these debilitating diseases. Using 3D printing technology, they offer patients with anorexia and other dysmorphic disorders the change to get, through life-size models of their own physiques, a tangible sense of their actual body shape.
